  • Q1How should I terminate the unused input pins?
  • ATerminate the pins as indicated below.
    CLKI2 Connect to GND via a resistance (3.3kΩ -330kΩ)
    TESTEN Connect to GND
GPIO0 to 6 Open, connecting CNF3 to GND
  • Q2When I select Generic #1, how should I terminate the BS# pin?
  • AConnect the BS# pin to VDD.
  • Q3For 16-bit access, do you use the AB0 pin of the lowest address?
  • AIf only 16-bit accesses are performed (no 8-bit accesses), AB0 does not need to be connected to the host CPU. AB0 should be connected to GND.
  • Q4When using a single CPU read signal in Generic #1, should I connect it to RD# or RD/WR#?
  • AConnect to both RD# and RD/WR#.
Readouts in byte units are not supported. The signal is read out in word units in all cases.
  • Q5The system register has an 8-bit structure. Is 16-bit access possible?
  • AYes. Specify an even-numbered address for 16-bit access.
  • Q6When I select Generic #1 or Generic #2, will it cause problems if the timing of the rise of WE1#, WE0#, RD#, and RD/WR# and the timing of the rise of CS# are reversed?
  • AYes, doing so will cause problems.
Set the rise of the CS# at the same timing or later than the rise of WE1#, WE0#, RD#, and RD/WR# to avoid problems.
  • Q7What's the address of the built-in SRAM (80KB)?
  • A00000h to 13FFFh.
  • Q8Is it possible to use a LUT value different from the recommended value?
  • AYes.
  • Q9What is the number of colors for LUT?
  • AThe output of LUT can be 262144 colors, of which only up to 256 may be used at any given time.
  • Q10Is it possible to connect S1D13706 to a narrow panel - for example, one with a resolution of 640 × 49 dots?
  • AThe product operates with narrow panels.
The resolution can be specified in 8-dot increments horizontally and in 1-line increments vertically.
  • Q11Do you offer an IBIS model?
  • ARefer to the attached documents.

    S1D13706 IBIS model ZIP (77KB)

  • Q12Do you offer related software or device drivers?
